Process for Allocating PTO Funds

The most fun of raising money for the PTO is putting it to work in our schools. The following is the process for allocating funds raised by the PTO:

•  Teacher or administration submits a written request for funds to Mr. Bonnaccorsi
•  Mr. Bonnaccorsi reviews the request to make sure he does not have the item in the budget.
•  The money request is added to the agenda of the PTO meeting by the PTO President.
•  The money request is presented at the PTO meeting.
•  Attendees vote to allocate funds.

How Can You Help?

• Volunteer at one of the PTO events

• Become the chairperson for a PTO event or committee

• Attend the PTO business meeting to help decide how the PTO can best help our elementary school
